Ministry background

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always,

even unto the end of the world. Amen.” — Matthew 28:19–20

Loving Our Neighbors, in Action

  • Thelma Project

Each month, we partner with local churches and organizations to support our downtown neighbors in need. Our journey starts Friday evening at Baymeadows Baptist Church, where volunteers prepare nourishing meals in a spirit of fellowship.

On Saturday, we collaborate with groups at the City Rescue Mission to deliver food and essential supplies. This outreach fosters love, compassion, and community uplift. Join us in this meaningful mission as we transform lives, one meal at a time.

  • Meals on Wheels

This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and show love and support to those in need. Each meal delivered is not just about providing nourishment; it’s about sharing kindness and building connections.

Whether you can spare an hour or a day, every bit of help makes a difference. If you would like to join this meaningful initiative, please reach out to our outreach team. Together, we can brighten someone’s day and reflect the love of Christ in our actions. Let's work hand in hand to ensure that everyone feels cared for and valued in our community!

  • Worldly Missions

Baymeadows Baptist Church believes in fulfilling "The Great Commission" in Matthew 28:19-20.

We emphasize Christian evangelism, promoting missions efforts at home and abroad; encourage Christian education; seek social justice and community involvement. We want to maintain a strong connection to the needs of our partnered missionaries.

We’re currently supporting missionaries in Mexico, South America, Africa, Haiti and the Philippines.
