Discipleship is a process of evangelizing non-believers, establishing believers in the faith, and equipping leaders. 

 

Discipleship doesn’t just happen because a church exists and people show up. It has to be a deliberate process. Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." This command must include evangelizing which means going to new people and new places, baptizing new believers and teaching them to obey God's Word, and teaching believers to also make disciples.
